My name is Sylvia Hickey and l am the GETASITTER Head Facilitator. I bring to this position a high level of expertise and experience. Let me take a few moments to introduce myself.
I am a graduate of the Early Childhood Education program at Loyalist College and have received my ECE diploma. I have successfully completed my CPR/First Aid course.
I have also had the pleasure of working as a nanny in the Ottawa area. This position gave me the opportunity to travel internationally while providing guidance and supervision for their children.
I've worked with children from infancy to the senior kindergarten level. I love working with children and providing experiences for them to explore the beautiful world around them. I am a teacher with diverse range of skill and experience.
For the past two years l had the opportunity to work in Vancouver, British Columbia as a licensed infant and toddler educator.
